Citing TechCrunch on Friday, Netflix disclosed this\nin its first-quarter performance report to shareholders. The company\nstated that Reed will concentrate on philanthropic activities and other\npursuits beyond the company. \u201cNetflix has changed my life in many ways,\nand my favourite memory is January 2016, when we enabled nearly the\nentire world to enjoy our service,\u201d Reed said. Reed also expressed\nappreciation to Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos and Co-CEO Greg Peters. Netflix\nwas founded by Reed along with Marc Randolph in 1997 as a film rental\nservice with a subscription model via DVD deliveries to customers\u2019\nhomes.
