        "content": "<p>Navy&apos;s training ship returns<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA: After sailing around the globe for more than a year,<br>\nthe Indonesian Navy&apos;s training ship KRI Arung Samudra is<br>\nscheduled to arrive home on May 4.<\/p>\n<p>The tall ship will be moored at the Tanjung Priok port, Col.<br>\nMualimin Santoso of the Indonesian Navy&apos;s Information Office was<br>\nquoted by Antara as saying Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>The ship was scheduled to leave Hong Kong and head for<br>\nSingapore over the weekend.<\/p>\n<p>Santoso said the ship will be escorted by several warships and<br>\nplanes when it enters Indonesian waters until it docks at Tanjung<br>\nUban port in Riau.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;From Tanjung Uban, Arung Samudra will be escorted by a<br>\nflotilla of Pinisi boats, other traditional vessels and jet skis<br>\nto Tanjung Priok,&quot; he said.<\/p>\n<p>Navy Chief of Staff Vice Admiral Arief Kushariadi will lead<br>\nthe welcoming ceremony in which the ship&apos;s 16-member crew will<br>\nreceive special Wira Karya medals from President Soeharto.<\/p>\n<p>The ship left on its world trip on  April 14 last year.<\/p>\n<p>Skippered by Major Darwanto, KRI Arsa has visited Australia,<br>\nSeychelles, Yemen, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Italy, Spain, France,<br>\nMorocco, Caribbean islands, Panama, Mexico, Hawaii, and Japan.<br>\n(swe)<\/p>",
