        "content": "<p>Navy impounds foreign boats<\/p>\n<p>AMBON, Maluku: The Navy has impounded eight foreign fishing<br>\nboats which were captured operating without permits in Aru waters<br>\nin southeast Maluku.<\/p>\n<p>\"We are still investigating the case but for sure we will<br>\nprosecute them,\" Commodore Maman Suparman, chief of the Ambon<br>\nnaval base, said.<\/p>\n<p>He said the waters in the Maluku is very prone to illegal<br>\nfishing and smuggling by foreign ships, especially those from<br>\nTaiwan, Hong Kong, the Philippines, Korea and Thailand, Antara<br>\nreported.<\/p>\n<p>In the last eight months, 59 foreign ships have been seized<br>\nfor illegally fishing in the area, he said.
