        "content": "<p>The Indonesian Navy warship KRI Semarang-594 once again transported\nthousands of returnees in the 2026 Lebaran return flow programme through\nTanjung Gudang Belinyu Port, Bangka Regency. The returnees, scattered\nacross various areas of Bangka Island, will be taken to Belitung and\nJakarta.<\/p>\n<p>This free return programme is a collaboration between the Navy and\nthe Bangka Belitung Islands Provincial Government to assist the\ncommunity after celebrating Eid al-Fitr.<\/p>\n<p>Commander of the Naval Base (Danlanal) Bangka Belitung Colonel\nYulindo stated that the free return programme aims to help the community\nreturn to Belitung and Jakarta safely and affordably.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is a form of care from the Navy together with the provincial\ngovernment to help the community with free returns, especially during\nthe Lebaran return flow,\u201d said Yulindo on Sunday (29\/3).<\/p>\n<p>According to him, more than 1,000 residents were departed from\nTanjung Gudang Belinyu Port. \u201cThey departed from Tanjung Gudang Belinyu\nPort with KRI Semarang-594,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Governor of Bangka Belitung Islands Hidayat Arsani expressed\nappreciation to the Navy Chief of Staff (Kasal), Danlanal, and all\nparties contributing to the smooth Lebaran return flow this year.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe together with the Police Chief, Army Regional Commander,\nDanlanal, regents, mayors, and all elements are very proud. We welcome\nthem upon arrival, and escort them home well. This is our contribution,\ncaring for the community so they can return from out of town. Hopefully\nnext year they can come back again,\u201d said Hidayat Arsani after releasing\nthe free return participants.<\/p>\n<p>Separately, Bangka Regent Feri Insani said the free return programme\ngreatly helps the community and is hoped to be implemented again next\nyear. \u201cAlhamdulillah, our community, especially those returning, can go\nback for free with that warship,\u201d said Feri.<\/p>\n<p>He also revealed that four passengers were temporarily left behind\nduring the return flow release. However, the ship was still not far from\nthe port, so officers could immediately help them catch up with the\ndeparture.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI took the initiative to help all four of them. We escorted them to\nthe middle using the Navy\u2019s speed boat. Alhamdulillah, they could board\nthe ship even though they had to climb the emergency ladder,\u201d he\nsaid.<\/p>\n<p>The free return programme using KRI Semarang-594 is expected to\ncontinue supporting inter-island connectivity while easing the travel\ncost burden for the community during the Lebaran momentum.<\/p>",
