        "content": "<p>Natuna (ANTARA) - The Natuna Regency Government in Riau Islands\nProvince has installed early warning signs for forest and land fires\n(karhutla) at several high-risk points to suppress fire potential while\nenhancing public awareness of the dangers of karhutla.<\/p>\n<p>The Head of the Natuna Regency Disaster Mitigation Agency (BPBD) Raja\nDarmika, confirmed from Natuna on Sunday, stated that the installation\nof these signs has been carried out at four strategic locations.<\/p>\n<p>The presence of these signs is expected to serve as a reminder and\nwarning to the public to be more cautious in their activities,\nparticularly those that could trigger fires.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe installation was carried out on 17 April at Teluk Buton, the\nPadang Angus Binjai intersection, the Gunung Putri\u2013Klarek area, and\nKlarek Gunung Putri. These locations were selected based on their\nvulnerability to fire incidents,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>Currently, an active command post is located in Bungaran Batubi\nSubdistrict, while other high-risk points in Bungaran Tengah, Bungaran\nSelatan, Bungaran Timur Laut, and Bungaran Utara Subdistricts are\nawaiting budget adjustments.<\/p>\n<p>Each command post is manned by combined personnel from relevant local\ngovernment units, the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI), the\nIndonesian National Police, and village governments.<\/p>\n<p>These efforts are deemed important given that in recent days, fire\nhotspots have continuously emerged alternately in various Natuna\nregions.<\/p>",
