Jakarta \u2014 The Head of the National Police\u2019s Traffic Corps\n(Kakorlantas Polri), Inspector General Agus Suryonugroho, has assured\nthe public that the state is committed to guaranteeing the safety of\nhomebound travellers during Operation Ketupat 2026.<\/p>\n
He made this statement whilst attending a meeting with transportation\nexperts in preparation for Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijriah at the Jasa Raharja\noffice in Jakarta on Wednesday, 11 March.<\/p>\n
\u201cOperation Ketupat is a humanitarian operation. The state is present\nnot merely to regulate traffic or oversee the flow of homebound and\nreturn travellers, but also to safeguard the social and spiritual\nmomentum of society throughout the sacred month of Ramadhan through to\nEid al-Fitr,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n
To ensure the success of Operation Ketupat 2026, Agus emphasised the\nimportance of synergy and collaboration with all stakeholders, as well\nas the utilisation of technology as a parameter for establishing traffic\nengineering strategies.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe key phrase of Operation Ketupat is safety, along with\ncollaboration and synergistic efforts from all parties,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
\u201cOur objective is straightforward: to ensure that people travelling\nhome for the holidays arrive safely and happily in their hometowns, and\nthat when they return, they also get back safely to their respective\nplaces,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
