The new<br>\npackage, called Tapornas (national savings for sports<br>\nactivities), will cooperate with banks which accept money from<br>\npotential depositors. The depositors' money is safe with the<br>\nbanks and will earn interest.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the Indonesia National Sports Committee and sports<br>\ndevelopers will obtain a certain fund for sports activities from<br>\nthe difference between the Tapornas' interest rate and normal<br>\nbank interest rates. And the banks can at the same time channel<br>\nthe funds from the society to business loan applicants.<\/p>\n<p>In this case many people express the concern that Tapornas<br>\nwill function in the same way as the now defunct SDSB government-<br>\nsponsored lottery which has been regarded as gambling. An<br>\nexchange of arguments on the pros and cons has taken place.<\/p>\n<p>As a responsible citizen I would also like to make my<br>\ncontribution in this matter.
