        "content": "<p>National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo has ordered the\nNational Police\u2019s Labour Desk to continue providing support to all\nworkers, particularly those who have fallen victim to redundancies.<\/p>\n<p>The directive was delivered by General Sigit during his address at\nthe 53rd anniversary celebration of the Confederation of Indonesian\nTrade Unions (KSPI), held at PT Victory Chinglu Indonesia in Pasar\nKemis, Tangerang Regency. The Police Chief stated that the National\nPolice, through its Labour Desk, continues to work on mitigating the\nimpact on workers to prevent redundancies.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe all want whatever happens to be mitigated as much as possible so\nthat it does not affect our fellow workers. The Labour Desk must truly\nprovide the best possible service to our fellow workers, especially\nthose affected by redundancies,\u201d General Sigit said in his address.<\/p>\n<p>Beyond this, the Police Chief also instructed his ranks to\nconsistently provide support and maximum service when workers are\nfighting for their rights. General Sigit explained that the National\nPolice is committed to helping maintain the investment climate.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFurthermore, we also accompany workers when they are fighting for\ntheir rights, and we continue our efforts to ensure that the investment\nclimate keeps growing,\u201d Sigit said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo that there are also new spaces or workplaces for fellow workers\nwho have been affected. This is something we continue to do,\u201d he\nadded.<\/p>\n<p>On this occasion, the Police Chief also reiterated the National\nPolice\u2019s commitment to championing workers\u2019 rights. This commitment aims\nto realise the welfare of workers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOn this 53rd anniversary, our hope is that the struggle of all our\nfellow workers to achieve worker welfare becomes our shared endeavour.\nTherefore, the National Police will certainly continue to support\nwhatever our fellow workers are fighting for,\u201d the Police Chief\nexplained.<\/p>\n<p>The Police Chief said the government also wants industrial relations\nto function well. Conducive industrial relations are expected to ensure\nthat company operations continue to run smoothly, enabling workers to\nachieve welfare.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd this is certainly our shared hope.
