JAKARTA \u2014 National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo attended\nan iftar gathering organised jointly with Indonesia\u2019s labour\nconfederations at the Tri Brata Building in Jakarta on Sunday, 1 March\n2026.<\/p>\n
The event was attended by Elly Rosita Silaban, President of the\nAll-Indonesia Labour Confederation (KSBSI), the President of the\nIndonesian Workers\u2019 Confederation (KSPI), and numerous leaders from\nlabour federation organisations.<\/p>\n
\u201cI wish to express my gratitude for this iftar organised between\nKSBSI and the National Police. This represents our continued efforts to\nstrengthen the relations that have been consistently maintained,\u201d said\nSigit.<\/p>\n
Sigit emphasised the need for heightened vigilance in light of\nAmerican and Israeli military strikes against Iran, noting that such\ndevelopments would have repercussions for global economics and\nsecurity.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe must therefore be prepared to face these circumstances and remain\ncautious amid the prevailing situation,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n
In her remarks, KSBSI President Elly Rosita noted that the event\nserved not merely as an iftar with the National Police Chief, but also\nas an occasion to provide assistance to orphaned children. She expressed\nappreciation for the National Police Chief and his personnel for\nfacilitating the iftar gathering, which proceeded respectfully and\nmodestly.<\/p>\n
