        "content": "<p>REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, SEMARANG - The national one-way system for the\nreturn flow from KM 414 of the Kalikangkung Toll to KM 70 of the\nCikampek Utama Toll is being implemented today, Tuesday (24\/3\/2026).\nNational Police Chief General Pol Listyo Sigit Prabowo led the flag-off\nfor the national one-way return flow at the Kalikangkung Toll Gate,\nSemarang, Central Java.<\/p>\n<p>The Police Chief, along with the Head of the Traffic Corps Inspector\nGeneral Pol Agus Suryonugroho and several ministers such as Coordinating\nMinister for Human Development and Culture Pratikno, Minister of\nTransportation Dudy Purwagandhi, and Minister of Health Budi Gunadi,\nalong with other stakeholders, distributed gift packages to road\nusers.<\/p>\n<p>Before the one-way engineering begins, the National Traffic Corps of\nthe Indonesian Police started clearing the route and rest areas from the\nTrans Java direction towards Jakarta.<\/p>\n<p>In his address, the Police Chief stated that the government, together\nwith stakeholders, is implementing traffic engineering in the form of a\none-way system. Previously, local one-way systems were applied. Today,\nTuesday, the national one-way system is being implemented, predicted to\ncoincide with the peak of the return flow.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is estimated that the peak return flow will occur today, so this\nafternoon we are implementing the national one-way system,\u201d said the\nPolice Chief.<\/p>\n<p>The implementation of the national one-way system is carried out from\nKM 414 Kalikangkung to KM 70 Cikampek Utama (Cikatama). This policy is\ntaken to reduce vehicle density heading towards Jakarta.<\/p>\n<p>The Police Chief also emphasised the importance of safety for\nreturnees heading back to their hometowns. He urged the public not to\npush themselves when tired and to utilise the facilities provided by the\ngovernment.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cUtilise the facilities at rest areas, service posts, or integrated\nposts. If tired, please rest and do not force yourself,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, the government has prepared various anticipatory\nmeasures to prevent bottlenecks at several points. These include\nutilising functional toll roads and the implementation of additional\ntraffic engineering, which will be further explained by the Head of the\nNational Traffic Corps.<\/p>\n<p>The Police Chief also invited the public to utilise alternative modes\nof transportation such as trains, which are considered more comfortable.\nBesides that, the Work From Anywhere (WFA) policy is also expected to\nhelp reduce return flow density.<\/p>\n<p>He added that the public with flexible time is urged to delay their\nreturn trips from 25 to 27 March 2026 to avoid peak density.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWith this arrangement, it is hoped that the return flow can be\nsmoothed and the public can be served maximally,\u201d he said.<\/p>",
