The National Nutrition Agency (BGN) is currently conducting follow-up\ninspections of 5,355 Nutrition Fulfillment Service Units (SPPG) that\nhave been indicated to have committed violations based on audit results\nfrom the Attorney General\u2019s Office (Kejagung). From the thousands of\nservice units being inspected, the BGN has asserted that it will not\ntolerate violations that lead to criminal acts of corruption.<\/p>\n
BGN Head Sudarylarono stated that the follow-up inspections are being\ncarried out after his agency received the classification of SPPG data\nbased on the Attorney General\u2019s audit working papers. This audit serves\nas the basis for the BGN to follow up on alleged violations occurring in\nseveral SPPG units.<\/p>\n
According to Sudaryono, the purpose of this inspection is to ensure\nwhether the discovered violations are merely administrative in nature or\nif they contain elements of intent that could lead to criminal\noffences.<\/p>\n
Attorney General\u2019s Audit Examines 16,482 SPPG<\/strong><\/p>\n Sudaryono explained that the Attorney General\u2019s Office has conducted\ninspections of 16,482 SPPG across various regions. From that total,\n5,355 SPPG fall into the category requiring deeper investigation due to\nindications of violations ranging from light to severe levels.<\/p>\n \u201cThere is a full list. There are red, yellow, and green categories.\nOut of the 16,482 inspected, we are currently looking more deeply into\n5,355 of them,\u201d said Sudaryono, as quoted on Saturday, 1 August\n2026.<\/p>\n He explained that the audit results have grouped each SPPG based on\nthe level of violation to facilitate the evaluation process and the\ndetermination of further actions.<\/p>\n BGN Investigating Presence of Intentional\nElements<\/strong><\/p>\n Sudaryono emphasised that the primary focus of the follow-up\ninspection is to determine whether there is an element of \u2018mens rea\u2019 or\nthe intent to commit a violation. He noted that the BGN aims to identify\nwhether there are parties intending to misuse the budget or take\nunlawful profits.<\/p>\n \u201cWe are checking whether, within the Attorney General\u2019s audit working\npapers, there are kitchens that, through mens rea, intended to steal or\nembezzle money. We will resolve all of this,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n The inspection will serve as the basis for determining the type of\nsanctions to be imposed on both the SPPG and the kitchen heads proven to\nhave committed violations.<\/p>\n Approximately 800 SPPG Already Closed<\/strong><\/p>\n In his statement, Sudaryono also revealed that the BGN has previously\ntaken action against hundreds of SPPG units that were proven to have\ncommitted violations.<\/p>",
