The Head of the Central Java Provincial Industry and Trade Office\n(Disperindag), July Emmylia, stated that the total transactions\nconsisted of retail transactions worth IDR 2,385,574,640 and orders\namounting to IDR 23,651,000.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt is hoped that this exhibition will serve as a promotion for the\ncommunity\u2019s economy,\u201d said Emmy in a written statement on Saturday\n(19\/9\/2026).<\/p>\n
This was conveyed during her report at the Closing Ceremony of the\n31st National MTQ Exhibition in Semarang. According to her, several\nbusiness collaborations arising from the exhibition demonstrate that\nproduct promotion activities should not cease once the exhibition\ncloses.<\/p>\n
One established partnership involves PT Yuasa Food Berkah Makbar with\nthe Polytechnic of the Ministry of Health Tasikmalaya. Both parties are\ncollaborating on the provision of stunting prevention food and emergency\nfood for natural disasters, with a contract value of IDR 5 billion over\na two-year period.<\/p>\n
Other collaborations involved several Central Javanese MSMEs. Abel\nEtnic Solo entered into an agreement with Friny Collection from Riau for\nthe provision of copper and stone accessories worth IDR 300 million with\na five-year contract.<\/p>\n
Furthermore, CV Hury Accessories Kebumen partnered with CV Naturaline\nBoyolali for product bundling sales worth IDR 500 million under a\nfive-year contract.<\/p>\n
Tifani Batik Pekalongan also secured several agreements, including\nthe provision of jintri seeds worth IDR 300 million, as well as the\nsupply of perfumes and aromatherapy worth IDR 360 million.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, Segar Asem Semarang established a partnership for the\nprovision of traditional beverage products with Oleh-oleh Kampung Joglo\nMalioboro Yogyakarta worth IDR 30 million. A similar partnership was\nformed with Oleh-oleh 52 Grup Semarang, with a value reaching IDR 1.05\nbillion.<\/p>\n
Emmy noted that during the exhibition, business actors were\nencouraged not only to sell but also to build networks, exchange\nbusiness contacts, collect customer databases, create content, and\noptimise social media.<\/p>\n
The exhibition also opened international market opportunities. Emmy\nmentioned that several overseas buyers showed interest in Central\nJavanese MSME products.<\/p>\n
One such buyer from Brazil expressed interest in 6,460 sheets of\npandan mats, with a potential contract value of approximately IDX 4.56\nbillion. Interest in Central Javanese MSME products also came from\nbuyers from Nigeria, India, and the United States.<\/p>\n
Over the eight-day period, the exhibition was visited by\napproximately 80,000 people. Enthusiasm remained high until the final\nnight. The 150 participating booths consisted of 24 provincial booths,\n70 regency\/city booths, 20 culinary booths, 10 partner booths, 12\nministry booths, and 14 independent booths.<\/p>\n
The Regional Secretary (Sekda) of Central Java Province, Sumarno,\nstated that the transaction achievements and collaborations are expected\nto serve as a starting point for MSMEs to expand their markets.<\/p>\n
\u201cOn behalf of the Central Java Provincial Government, I express my\ngratitude for your participation, ensuring that this side event of the\nMTQ, in the form of an exhibition, ran smoothly,\u201d said Sumarno.<\/p>\n
He noted that the government has a role in facilitating MSMEs to\ncontinue growing. One of the greatest challenges to address is not only\nproducing quality products but also expanding marketing reach.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis exhibition is one way for us to help our brothers and sisters\nmarket their products,\u201d said Sumarno.<\/p>\n
He hoped that the transactions and collaborations formed during the\nexhibition would not end after the event. The networks established are\nexpected to evolve into broader business relationships.<\/p>\n
Sumarno reminded that the exhibition is part of the National MTQ\nseries.
