The government has requested that participants, company operators,\nand mentors of the National Internship Programme (MagangHub Kemnaker)\nBatch I immediately complete all final stages of the programme according\nto the schedule, as there are many important matters that also need to\nbe addressed.<\/p>\n
Director General of Vocational Training Development and Productivity\nat the Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker), Darmawansyah, explained that\ncompleting the final stage is crucial because it directly relates to\nadministrative processes, assessments, certificate issuance, and the\ndisbursement of participants\u2019 stipends.<\/p>\n
\u201cMoreover, this closing phase also serves as a marker that the\ninternship experience must truly be transformed into tangible\npreparation for entering the workforce,\u201d said Darmawansyah in a written\nstatement in Jakarta on Sunday, 19 April 2026, as quoted from\nAntara.<\/p>\n
The Phase 1A programme will end on 19 April 2026, while the Phase 1B\nprogramme will conclude on 23 April 2026. This national internship\nprogramme previously ran for six months in the industrial sector.<\/p>\n
Darmawansyah further stated that the six-month experience in industry\nis an important asset for participants to increase their competitiveness\nin the job market. \u201cThis six-month experience becomes a vital asset for\nparticipants to enhance their competitiveness in the job market.\nParticipants are now more work-ready,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
He also appreciated the participants, partner companies, mentors, and\nprogramme managers who have supported the implementation of the\nprogramme over the past six months. According to him, the internship\nprogramme not only provides direct work experience in an industrial\nenvironment but also strengthens participants\u2019 hard skills and soft\nskills, including communication abilities, teamwork, and adaptation in\nthe work environment.<\/p>\n
Therefore, Darmawansyah reminded participants not to overlook the\nimportant value of that experience. The internship experience, he said,\nneeds to be well documented in CVs or portfolios, so that it truly\nbecomes an added value when participants apply for jobs.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, Head of the Manpower Research and Development Agency at\nKemnaker, Anwar Sanusi, explained that Phase I participants are required\nto complete the final attendance, prepare monthly reports, and fill out\nquestionnaires as conditions for stipend disbursement. The completion of\nthese final stages determines the orderly process of the programme\u2019s\nclosure on 24 April 2026.<\/p>\n
In addition to participants, company operators also have important\nresponsibilities during the period of 19\u201322 April 2026. Operators must\nprepare internship certificates in the maganghub.kemnaker.go.id menu,\nincluding entering the company logo, participant names, and electronic\nsignatures from the directors. Operators must also fill out competency\ncertification reports, placement or recruitment reports if any, and\nmandatory questionnaires.<\/p>\n
During the same period, mentors are also required to approve\nparticipants\u2019 daily attendance and reports, approve monthly reports,\nprovide monthly and final grades for participants, complete mentor\nquestionnaires, and submit participants\u2019 stipends after all\nquestionnaires have been submitted.<\/p>\n
Furthermore, the government is also preparing online training and\ncompetency certification for internship participants.
