        "content": "<p>The government is set to reopen the National Internship Programme\n(PMN) Batch 4 in July 2026. The programme is aimed at recent university\ngraduates. There are plans for three waves of the internship programme.\nIn the first wave this July, the government is targeting 50,000\nparticipants. \u201cThe National Internship Programme Batch 4 will be\nimplemented in stages starting July 2026, with an initial plan of around\n50,000 participants in the first wave, then continuing with the second\nand third waves until reaching a total of 150,000 participants by the\nend of the year,\u201d said Kurnia, as quoted from a press release on\nThursday (24\/6\/2026). The programme has received broad support from\nvarious sectors. Overall, there are 8,056 partner organisations\nconsisting of 5,168 private companies and 2,888 work units from\nministries and government agencies. Kurnia explained that throughout the\nprogramme\u2019s implementation, the number of partner companies has\nincreased with each batch. \u201cOf all the partners, 874 state-owned\nenterprise (BUMN) entities are participating as organising partners,\u201d he\nadded. Based on industry mapping, the state-owned banking sector is the\nlargest contributor, providing 1,033 internship programmes. This is\nfollowed by the private hospital sector (191 programmes), management\nconsulting (168 programmes), food and beverage trade (167 programmes),\nand the property and asset management industry (151 programmes). Kurnia\nexplained that the registration process begins with partner companies\nand agencies opening internship vacancies and submitting requests for\nthe required positions. After that, prospective participants can\nregister through the MagangHub platform by selecting a maximum of two\npositions that match their interests and field of expertise.\n\u201cProspective participants register through the MagangHub platform at\nmaganghub.kemnaker.go.id, by selecting a maximum of two internship\npositions according to their interests and field of expertise,\u201d he said.\nAfter the registration process, the company will conduct a selection and\nannounce the recruitment results through the same platform. Participants\nwho pass will then sign an Internship Agreement and undergo a six-month\ninternship period. During the six-month internship, participants will\nreceive a number of benefits, including a monthly allowance equivalent\nto the provincial or regency\/city minimum wage (UMP\/UMK), social\nsecurity, and an official internship certificate. In addition,\nparticipants also have a great opportunity to be directly absorbed as\npermanent employees at the company where they intern. While\nparticipating in the programme, participants are required to fill in\ndaily reports through the monitoring and evaluation system available at\nmonev.maganghub.kemnaker.go.id, which are validated by their respective\nmentors. After completing the programme, participants will receive an\nInternship Certificate and have the opportunity to take a competency\ncertification through the SertifHub platform. Requirements for\nProspective Participants: The main requirements for registering as a\nparticipant in the National Internship Programme Batch 4 are as follows:\n1. Indonesian citizen (WNI), officially proven by possession of a\nPopulation Identification Number (NIK). 2. A graduate of a diploma,\nbachelor\u2019s, or professional education programme with a maximum\ngraduation period of one year from the date the diploma was issued. 3.\nSpecifically for holders of professional certificates, the graduation\ntime limit is relaxed to a maximum of two years from the date the\ndiploma or bachelor\u2019s degree was issued. 4. Graduated from a higher\neducation institution officially registered with the Ministry of Higher\nEducation, Science, and Technology. It was also explained that the first\nbatch of the national internship programme has reached 102,600\nparticipants across Indonesia. The registration process for the national\ninternship programme was divided into four waves, namely Batch I with\n14,952 participants, Batch IB with 1,160 participants, Batch II with\n62,128 participants, and Batch III with 24,456 participants. A total of\n5,063 participants, or about 34 percent of total respondents, have\nalready secured employment after their internship period ended.<\/p>",
