        "content": "<p>The Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker) is preparing approximately 70,000\nvacancies for the second intake of the National Internship Programme\nBatch 3, with registration set to open in October 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Darmawansyah, the Director General of Vocational Training and\nProductivity Development at Kemnaker, stated that registration for\nparticipating companies will commence in September 2026.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor Batch 3, all vacancies are provided by companies. There are no\nvacancies from ministries or government agencies,\u201d Darmawansyah said in\nJakarta on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>He noted that the registration and selection process for participants\nwill take place in October, before the programme officially commences\nwith a kickoff in November.<\/p>\n<p>Darmawansyah confirmed that the allowances for Batch 3 interns will\nremain fully covered by the government. Participating companies are not\nrequired to contribute to the participants\u2019 pocket money.<\/p>\n<p>Kemnaker noted that out of approximately 100,000 graduates from the\n2025 National Internship Programme, 60,000 underwent internships within\ncompanies or industries. Of that number, nearly 50 per cent, or about\n30,000 graduates, have been absorbed into the workforce.<\/p>\n<p>The National Internship Programme will continue into 2026. In Batch\n1, 46,000 participants took part in the programme, while in Batch 2,\n40,962 participants were declared successful after passing the selection\nprocess.<\/p>\n<p>The government aims for the total number of participants in the 2026\nNational Internship Programme to reach 150,000 people across three\nbatches.<\/p>\n<p>Kemnaker stated that it will continue to conduct regular evaluations\nto measure the benefits of the internship, including improvements in\ncompetence, work experience, and the professional development of\nparticipants after completing the programme.<\/p>",
