The Minister of Manpower, Yassierli, has revealed the evaluation\nresults of the national internship programme, known as Magang Hub, for\nthe first and second waves in 2025.<\/p>\n
Yassierli explained that the evaluation utilised a sample of 65,245\ninterns and 7,217 mentors representing participating companies. The\nresults showed that 84% of participants were very satisfied with the\ninternship programme.<\/p>\n
\u201c84% of participants felt very satisfied, 15.9% were quite satisfied,\nand only 0.71% were dissatisfied,\u201d Yassierli stated during a press\nconference regarding the second-semester 2026 economic stimulus delivery\nat the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs on Monday\n(22\/06\/2026).<\/p>\n
From the mentors\u2019 perspective, 84% of companies were satisfied with\nthe interns\u2019 ability to absorb knowledge, while only 0.45% were\ndissatisfied. \u201cFrom the perspective of mentors and companies, 84% of\ncompanies expressed satisfaction or very high satisfaction, 15.42% were\nquite satisfied, and 0.45% were dissatisfied,\u201d Yassierli continued.<\/p>\n
Regarding the interns\u2019 perspective, 52.13% were very satisfied with\nthe national internship programme, while only 0.42% were very\ndissatisfied. More specifically, 52.13% were very satisfied, 32.13% were\nsatisfied, 15.05% were quite satisfied, 0.29% were dissatisfied, and\n0.42% were very dissatisfied.<\/p>\n
In terms of the programme\u2019s impact on the economic condition of\nparticipants and their families, 36.52% reported that it was very\nhelpful, while only 0.35% found it not helpful at all. \u201cDoes this\ninternship programme help the economic condition of participants and\/or\ntheir families? 36.52% found it very helpful, which aligns with the\nCoordinating Minister\u2019s expectations; this is also part of the economic\nstimulus programme. 30.61% found it helpful, 30.45% found it quite\nhelpful, 2.07% found it not helpful, and 0.35% found it very unhelpful,\u201d\nhe explained.<\/p>\n
Regarding competency improvement, Yassierli explained that 47.24% saw\nsignificant increases, and only 0.05% experienced no improvement in\ncompetence. \u201cIf we combine those who improved significantly, improved,\nand improved sufficiently, the figure is close to 98.5%, where only\n0.05% of interns did not see an increase in competence,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Regarding companies offering employment after the programme ends, 30%\nof companies offered new jobs following the internship. \u201c30% offered\njobs, but some participants declined because they had already accepted\noffers from other companies. 33.05% said they had not yet been offered a\nposition but there were indications of one, and 37.26% said they were\nnot offered a position by the time the programme ended,\u201d Yassierli\nrevealed.<\/p>\n
