National car on credit<\/p>\n
After 50 years of independence Indonesia is showing rapid
\ndevelopment in many fields: technology, science, business, and
\neducation. Indonesian citizens should feel proud of the country's
\nachievements which have given the nation dignity and prosperity.<\/p>\n
Education has played a big part in the formation of human
\nresources for development. It is regrettable that people tend to
\nprefer working in companies rather than in schools as teachers.
\nIn Indonesia some people say that teachers are unsung heroes
\nbecause they generally earn little and show much dedication.<\/p>\n
Last year teachers were happy to hear the good news that the
\ngovernment launched its national car policy to be produced by PT
\nTimor Putra. But despite its competitive price, the car is still
\nbeyond the purchasing power of teachers.<\/p>\n
I would like to appeal to PT Timor Putra to grant special
\nterms or credit to teachers in order that the national car
\nbecomes affordable to them.<\/p>\n
