President Prabowo Subianto officially inaugurated Nanik Sudaryati\nDeyang as the Head of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) at the State\nPalace, Central Jakarta, on Monday (8\/6\/2026). During the inauguration\nceremony, Nanik was moved to tears while shaking hands with President\nPrabowo, who offered his congratulations following the ceremony.<\/p>\n
She remained visibly emotional while receiving congratulations from\nVice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka and the Speaker of the People\u2019s\nConsultative Assembly, Ahmad Muzani. Nanik also attempted to smile at\nvarious ministers and heads of agencies who offered their\nwell-wishes.<\/p>\n
Nanik was inaugurated alongside two Deputy Heads of the BGN, Agustuna\nArumsari and Trenggono. During a press conference, Nanik emphasised the\nurgency of the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) programme, which falls under\nthe responsibility of the BGN.<\/p>\n
She introduced Arumsari, the former Deputy Head of the Financial and\nDevelopment Supervisory Agency (BPKP), who will assist her, as well as\nTrenggono, the former Deputy President Director of PT Agrinas\nPangan.<\/p>\n
\u201cMrs Arumsari will closely monitor my financial activities to ensure\nthey are meticulous and correct. I will not make any decisions regarding\nexpenditures without her approval,\u201d said Nanik.<\/p>\n
