Naked truth about gambler<\/p>\n
MAUMERE, East Nusa Tenggara (JP): A 45-year-old housewife
\nwalked down the street wearing only her panties after finding out
\nher husband had broken his promise to quit gambling over the
\nweekend.<\/p>\n
Siti Amina was outraged to find her husband Ahmad, 48, in a
\nmotel bar early last Saturday. Ahmad, an elementary school
\nteacher, failed to return home Friday night and when confronted
\nin the bar admitted he had been gambling all night.<\/p>\n
Drunk and appearing tired, Ahmad was offended when Amina
\ndemanded to know why he hadn't come home the night before and
\ngave him a tongue-lashing, witnesses said.<\/p>\n
People hanging around the bar could hardly believed their eyes
\nwhen Amina, screaming hysterically, stripped off and briskly left
\nthe bar almost naked and headed home, about one kilometer away,
\nPos Kupang reported.<\/p>\n
Aminah told her neighbors she was frustrated by her husband's
\nfailure to kick his habit, which often triggered family spats.
\nAhmad, she said, had made a written statement pledging to repent
\nand become a good father.<\/p>\n
The incident has sparked the curiosity of district education
\nand culture office chief Antoni Bagul Dagur, who said he would
