I usually pay my bills on time and use my telephones as<br>\nefficiently as possible.<\/p>\n<p>Last month, however, there was a big jump in the amount on the<br>\nbills. The printout showed that these numbers were used several<br>\ntimes to contact a TV quiz telephone number and the expensive<br>\nJapati.<\/p>\n<p>While waiting for my claim to be settled, the telephone<br>\nnumbers could be used to receive incoming calls only. Besides, I<br>\nhad to pay a fine on late payment.<\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately, the response to my claim, which came a month<br>\nlater, was that I still had to pay the Japati charges because the<br>\ncall was made from my telephone numbers.<\/p>\n<p>I was really disappointed with this response. I have refused<br>\nto pay until Telkom can prove beyond any shadow of doubt that I<br>\nused my telephone numbers to contact Japati number.<\/p>\n<p>Telkom should realize that there are always hackers that can<br>\npenetrate the security wall of, for example, banking services,<br>\nand the Internet.
