Shopping centres are beginning to develop not only as places to shop,
but also as spaces for interaction and experience for the public. The
growth of the creative economy has also encouraged the emergence of new
spaces that bring together the public with music, art, communities, and
various forms of creativity.

One such space is Styles LAND at Lippo Mall Kemang, Jakarta, which
presented a performance by the music group Lomba Sihir on Friday (21/8).
The presence of the independent band was part of a series of lifestyle
experiences combining music, creativity, community, and
entertainment.

The event was also attended by Deputy Minister of Creative Economy
Irene Umar. Her presence was a form of support for efforts to create
spaces that can bring together creators, musicians, communities,
creative industry players, and the public more closely.

Irene assessed that the existence of creative spaces such as Styles
LAND can be part of efforts to expand interaction between creative
economy players and the public. Collaboration between government,
industry, and communities is considered important to introduce works
while opening up opportunities for developing the creative economy
ecosystem.

Styles LAND itself has been present at Lippo Mall Kemang since 7
August 2026. The space is designed to bring the Styles experience from
the digital realm to the physical space, providing visitors with the
opportunity to explore, play, interact, and enjoy various activities
beyond shopping.

The performance by Lomba Sihir was one of the agendas that
strengthened the character of the space as a meeting point for various
creative cultures. Music that combines a number of genres as well as
lyrics that are close to the life experiences of the younger generation
made the group’s performance not only focused on musical performance,
but also built interaction with its fans.

Lomba Sihir consists of Natasha Udu on vocals, Rayhan Noor on vocals
and guitar, Enrico Octaviano on drums, Tristan Juliano on keyboards, and
Hindia on vocals. Lomba Sihir’s journey began with their debut album
Selamat Datang di Ujung Dunia, released in 2021. The album was inspired
by the experience of living in Jakarta. Four years later, they released
Obrolan Jam 3 Pagi, which explores personal themes such as love, loss,
hope, and regret.

Chief Marketing Officer of Lippo Malls Indonesia Santiwati Basuki
said that the presence of Lomba Sihir is in line with efforts to make
Styles LAND a space that brings together various forms of
creativity.

“We want Styles LAND to be a space that brings together various forms
of creativity in one experience. The presence of Lomba Sihir is relevant
to that spirit because they not only present music, but also bring
stories, characters, and a strong community,” said Santiwati.

According to her, the support of the Ministry of Creative Economy is
a momentum to strengthen the role of lifestyle spaces in introducing
works and the potential of the creative economy to the public.

Styles LAND is part of the development of the Styles ecosystem which
has been integrated in more than 70 shopping centres managed by Lippo
Malls Indonesia.

The platform connects various customer experiences through a digital
ecosystem, including loyalty programmes, offers, and activities across
the shopping centre network. Beyond consumption activities, shopping
centres are beginning to become places for communities to meet, enjoy
creative works, and build social experiences.

Through the concept of experiential retail, mall operators are
beginning to engage creators, communities, and creative intellectual
property (IP).

Ahead of the screening of the film Minions & Monsters in cinemas
on 30 June 2026, Lippo Mall Puri presented a series of activities titled
Season of Adventure.

The school holiday season is an important moment for shopping centres
to attract family visits.

School holidays are a moment for families to spend more time
together.

Playtopia Adventure offers a broader, more complete, and more
exciting family adventure experience compared to other playgrounds.
",
