Murder trial adjourned<\/p>\n
JAKARTA (JP): North Jakarta District Court adjourned yesterday
\nfor the second time the trial of two men charged with the murder
\nof businessman Darmansyah Sujadi, also known as Nyo Beng Seng,
\nafter prosecution witnesses failed to appear.<\/p>\n
The trial was adjourned last Tuesday for the same reason.<\/p>\n
Prosecutor James Pardede said he had summoned five witnesses,
\nincluding Tjen Piu, alias Opiu; Oei Jeng Lai, alias A Lai;
\nAsanuddin Artono, alias A San; Heri Herlambang Sabri; and Lie Pik
\nPoe, alias A Fok.<\/p>\n
James said that Opiu and A Fok were sick, but that he had not
\nreceived any explanation from the other witnesses.<\/p>\n
Presiding Judge Sumarjono said he have the witnesses arrested
\nand brought before the court to testify if they failed to respond
\nto the court's summons a third time.<\/p>\n
Nyo Beng Seng, owner of recording company PT Irama Tara, was
\nkilled at his house in Pluit, North Jakarta, in April last year.<\/p>\n
Seven people are accused of being involved in the murder, but
\nonly two suspects, Agiono, 46, and Atok, 40, have been arrested,
\nwhile the five others are still at large.<\/p>\n
The judge ordered the prosecutor to summons the witnesses to
\ngive evidence next Tuesday.(29)<\/p>",
