Murder suspect's home destroyed<\/p>\n
JAKARTA (JP): Angry mob attacked yesterday the house of the
\nmain suspect in the murder of a woman and her three children in
\nBambu Apus, East Jakarta, and burned the house of his relative
\nafter hearing that the woman's 8-month baby escaped from the
\nmurder finally died yesterday.<\/p>\n
Hundreds of people flocking to the location started to stone
\nthe house Filipus Kia, the main suspect, and the homes of his
\nrelatives Bernardus Ola Namang, Bernardus Lajar and Yohanes Muli
\nwhich are close to Filipus's in the afternoon. The angry mob even
\nburned Bernardus Ola Namang's house, Antara reported.<\/p>\n
The mob attack made police officers, helped by military
\nofficers, busy dispersing the large number of attackers. It took
\ntwo hours for the officers to control the situation. Dozens of
\nofficers remained in the location to avoid any possible new
\nattack from the mob, according to Antara.<\/p>\n
Eli, a 31-year-old housewife, and three of her children were
\nfound dead with severe stab wounds in her home in Bambu Apus last
\nMonday.<\/p>\n
The large number of people coming to the location caused a
\nheavy traffic congestion on roads around the area.<\/p>\n
Filipus, his wife Parmi, his sons Agus, Fery, Bernardus and
\nAlbert, and his cousins Alex and Lambert are now being questioned
\nby the police following the brutal murder.<\/p>\n
Quoting police sources, Antara said that Filipus who was
\naccompanied by his lawyer OC Kaligis only admitted to the killing
\nyesterday after police involved a psychologist and a clergyman in
\nthe investigation.<\/p>",
