Murder suspect questioned<\/p>\n
JAKARTA (JP): Tebet Police detectives are questioning a murder
\nsuspect in connection with the Saturday morning killing of a
\nclothing manager at his residence on Jl. Tebet Timur IV, South
\nJakarta.<\/p>\n
Tebet Police chief Maj. Aslimanao identified the victim as
\nRudy Liando, 38, manager of the Executive 99 clothing store at
\nMal Taman Anggrek in West Jakarta. The suspect was identified as
\nAbubakar Sidiq, 21.<\/p>\n
\"We have yet to find out what the motive is. We suspect it's
\nrevenge but that's a guess. We still have to question the
\nsuspect,\" Aslimanao told reporters on Saturday.<\/p>\n
Aslimanao said that Rudy, a bachelor, was found with \"two stab
\nwounds on his neck and one in the chest area. He (Abubakar) used
\na bread knife.\"<\/p>\n
Police have confiscated the bread knife as evidence.<\/p>\n
\"The man just went to Rudy's house in Tebet at about 8 a.m.,
\nstabbed him and ran off. It was fortunate that residents found
\nout.\"<\/p>\n
When Rudy was stabbed, he ran out of his house and started
\nscreaming for help. His cries were heard by residents, who then
\ncaught sight of the suspect. They chased after Abubakar, caught
\nup with him and beat him up badly until officers of the Tebet
\nPolice arrived in time to arrest him. (ylt)<\/p>",
