        "content": "<p>The Serang City Police Criminal Investigation Unit (Satreskrim) said\nofficers are investigating the case after the victim was found dead,\nhanging in a garden on Monday (18 May) at around 5:00 p.m. Western\nIndonesian Time. Police detected several signs of injuries on the\ncorpse.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBased on the results of on-site examinations and autopsy findings,\nthe victim BY is suspected to have died abnormally due to several\ninjuries on her body,\u201d said Alfano Ramadhan.<\/p>\n<p>A joint team from Serang City Police and Cipocok Jaya Police Sector\nquestioned a number of witnesses. In addition, police recovered the\nvictim\u2019s mobile phone, which had previously gone missing.<\/p>\n<p>Police sought the whereabouts of AS, who was not at his residence in\nGelam, Cipocok Jaya District. According to information, AS fled to the\njurisdiction of the Metro Jaya Regional Police, specifically in\nTangerang Selatan (Tangsel).<\/p>\n<p>Police detained AS on Friday (22 May) at around 1:15 a.m. at his\nbrother\u2019s rented accommodation on Jalan Garuda Benda Baru, Pamulang.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe suspect has since been brought to the Satreskrim Office of\nSerang City Police for further questioning,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>AS is charged under Article 459 in conjunction with Article 458 of\nthe Indonesian Penal Code with regard to acts of murder in a planned\nmanner and\/or murder.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAt present, investigators from Satreskrim Polresta Serang Kota are\nstill delving deeper and conducting further examinations regarding the\nmotive and sequence of the crime,\u201d Alfano said.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, a woman was found dead, hanging from a tree in a garden in\nGelam, Cipocok Jaya District, Serang City. The body is believed to have\nhung for several days at the location and was in a decayed state.<\/p>\n<p>The woman was found hanging from a tree, fully clothed, but her body\nappeared to be blackened.<\/p>",
