Munchen promotes Bauma 2001<\/p>\n
JAKARTA (JP): Organizers of the Bauma 2001 trade exhibition
\nfor construction machinery and building materials made a
\npresentation before Indonesian entrepreneurs on Thursday on why
\nthey should visit the German city of Munchen in April next year.<\/p>\n
The event, held every three years, will feature new and
\ninnovative products from 2,000 exhibitors as well as a symposium
\nby the German Congress for Construction Equipment.<\/p>\n
Manfred Wutzlhofer, president and CEO of Messe Munchen
\nInternational, predicted 380,000 people from over 130 countries,
\nincluding 7,200 from Asia, would visit the trade show.<\/p>\n
The German-Indonesian Chamber of Industry and Commerce (Ekonid)
\nis sponsoring Indonesian entrepreneurs intending to take part as
\nvisitors.<\/p>\n
\"We understand that property business in Indonesia is slowing
\ndown. Transfer of the technology will be more favorable for
\nIndonesian visitors,\" Ekonid managing director F. Kleinsteuber
\nsaid.<\/p>\n
A similar expo called Baucon 2001 by the same organizers will
