A multi-vehicle pile-up occurred on the Jakarta Outer Ring Road (Tol\nJORR) involving seven vehicles. The incident took place at approximately\nkm 30.800 B at 15:44 WIB on Tuesday, 10 March 2026, according to AKBP\nOjo Ruslani, Deputy Head of Law Enforcement and Traffic at Jakarta Metro\nPolice.<\/p>\n
The seven vehicles involved were a wing-box truck, Honda BRV, two\ndiesel trucks, Toyota Innova, Gran Max van, and a Fuso truck, all\ntravelling eastbound. At the incident location, the Fuso truck\nexperienced brake failure (rem blong) at lane 2 and collided with the\nvehicle ahead, triggering a chain-reaction collision.<\/p>\n
As Ojo explained: \u201cUnder overcast conditions, at km 30+800 B in lane\n2, the seventh vehicle (Fuso) experienced brake failure and struck the\nsixth vehicle. The sixth vehicle lost control and collided with the\nfifth, fourth, and third vehicles. The seventh vehicle then lost\ncontrol, changed lanes to lane 1, and struck the second and first\nvehicles.\u201d<\/p>\n
The truck subsequently shifted lanes and struck additional vehicles.\nOfficers arrived at the scene to conduct evacuation procedures and\nsecured the vehicles to a safer area beyond the Gedong 2 toll gate.<\/p>\n
According to Ojo, two people sustained minor injuries and were\ntreated at Pasar Rebo Hospital.
