        "content": "<p>Mulialand to build $15m underpass<\/p>\n<p>Mulia Intipelangi, a subsidiary of PT Mulialand Group, will<br>\nbuild a US$15 million underpass at the Tomang exchange in West<br>\nJakarta.<\/p>\n<p>Joko S. Tjandra, the president of Mulialand, said yesterday<br>\nthat the underpass is expected to help ease traffic congestion in<br>\nthe area.<\/p>\n<p>The construction of the underpass will start later this year<br>\nand is scheduled for completion in July 1995.<\/p>\n<p>The underpass will be presented to the Jakarta administration<br>\nupon its completion, making Mulialand the second private company<br>\nto contribute a major road facility for public use, Tjandra said.<\/p>\n<p>He said that the construction of the underpass will be in line<br>\nwith its Taman Anggrek Condominium project, which will be<br>\ndeveloped near the Tomang interchange with a total cost of around<br>\nRp 700 billion ($350 million).<\/p>\n<p>Tjandra, however, said that the underpass will not only<br>\nbenefit Taman Anggrek residents but also all motorists using the<br>\nnetwork of roads around Tomang, Slipi and Grogol.<\/p>\n<p>He said that the Taman Anggrek Condominium will be the tallest<br>\nresidential area in Indonesia, with eight towers of 45 stories.<br>\nThe towers will have a total of 2,824 apartments.<\/p>\n<p>Beneath the apartment towers will be Taman Anggrek Mall, a<br>\nmodern shopping center.
