Muliakeramik gets loan<\/p>\n
JAKARTA (JP): Ceramics producer PT Muliakeramik Indahraya, a
\nsubsidiary of PT Mulia Industrindo closed a loan agreement worth
\nUS$47.5 million with a number of foreign banks on Tuesday.<\/p>\n
The company said that the five-year syndicated loan was
\narranged by Bankers Trust Company, Bank Credit Lyonnais
\nIndonesia, Commerzbank, the Development Bank of Singapore and
\neight other banks.<\/p>\n
Muliakeramik will use the loan to expand its production
\ncapacity to 41 million square meters of floor and wall tiles per
\nyear.<\/p>\n
\"Foreign demand has been increasing recently but we cannot
\nmeet it. We'll make this expansion to meet the growing need,\" a
\ndirector of Mulia Industrindo, Dodi Pryambodo, said after the
\nsigning ceremony for the loan agreement.<\/p>\n
The company's exports are mostly to the United States,
\nAustralia, Hong Kong, Singapore and other Asian countries. (13)<\/p>",
