        "content": "<p>The General Chairman of the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI), Anwar\nIskandar, has called on all Islamic social organisations to safeguard\nnational stability. He urged them to guard their speech and actions to\nprevent causing disturbances in society.<\/p>\n<p>This was conveyed by KH Anwar during the national gathering of\nIslamic social organisations and the MUI\u2019s Eid al-Fitr 1447H halal\nbihalal event, held at the Sultan Hotel in Jakarta on Wednesday\n(15\/4\/2026). Anwar stated that at present, President Prabowo Subianto,\nalong with his cabinet, is striving to transform Indonesia into an\nadvanced, prosperous, and welfare-oriented nation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur duty as Islamic community leaders is to provide a situation that\nallows the country\u2019s leaders to build in peace, build well, and build\nconstructively. That is what is needed,\u201d said KH Anwar.<\/p>\n<p>He reminded the leaders of Islamic social organisations of their\nsignificant influence within society. Therefore, he said, they must be\nmore prudent in addressing various national issues.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe must be careful; we are like bus drivers, not racing drivers. If\na racing driver drives too fast and crashes, only he dies. But if a bus\ndriver has an accident, it\u2019s not just the driver who suffers\u2014the\npassengers suffer too,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n<p>Anwar stressed the importance of wisdom in every utterance and\ndecision. According to him, this is to prevent sparking disturbances in\nsociety.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTherefore, wisdom and prudence are needed from all of us, as advised\nearlier, to ensure that what we say, do, and decide does not cause\ndisturbances anywhere,\u201d he added.<\/p>",
