According to him, the strikes\nhave also caused the Board of Peace (BoP) chaired by US President Donald\nTrump to lose legitimacy.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis attack is concrete evidence that Trump is actually a destroyer\nand wrecker of peace. Consequently, the BoP increasingly loses moral,\npolitical, and even legal legitimacy because it has proven ineffective\nin creating genuine peace, let alone justice,\u201d he said in a statement\nreceived by Republika on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, Trump is truly an actor who has hijacked the word\n\u201cpeace\u201d solely for his hegemonic and imperialist ambitions. \u201cGiven the\nattacks on Iran, Trump and his BoP cannot be trusted as a body fighting\nfor peace and Palestinian independence,\u201d he continued.<\/p>\n<p>Sudarnoto emphasised that not only Iran has been sacrificed to\nIsraeli-American hegemonic-imperialist ambitions. But the Gulf region\nand even other parts of the world have also suffered negative and\ndestructive impacts. \u201cThis is indeed part of a larger geopolitical\nconfiguration in which Israel and America are the parties that must be\nheld accountable.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The US-Israeli attacks on Iran, which began early Saturday (28\nFebruary 2026), are clearly a systematic effort to weaken Iran\u2019s\nstrategic position in the region and prevent Iranian support for the\nPalestinian cause, according to him. This is also a way to exert\npolitical pressure to ensure Israeli regional dominance over\nPalestine.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis American-Israeli aggression will trigger regional war,\nparticularly in the Middle East. This is what Israel-America intends\u2014for\nthe Middle East to be completely paralysed so that Palestine and the\nbroader Middle East ultimately fall under Israeli-American control.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In light of this, he believes Indonesia should not become involved\nand must firmly reject all acts of military aggression, uphold\ninternational law, and pursue peaceful resolution based on justice.<\/p>",
