Yogyakarta (ANTARA) - The Central Leadership (PP) of Muhammadiyah\nhopes that the search process for journalists and crew members lost at\nsea near the Mount Anak Krakatau area while covering the eruption will\nsoon yield results through the various efforts undertaken by rescue\nteams.<\/p>\n
The General Chairman of PP Muhammadiyah, Haedar Nashir, speaking in\nYogyakarta on Saturday, expressed appreciation to all parties and\nauthorities who continue the search into its fifth day.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe appreciate all parties and authorities who are still searching\nuntil now. We encourage and pray that they can be found soon,\u201d he\nsaid.<\/p>\n
On this occasion, Ha \u043d\u0435\u0433\u043e expressed hope that the rescue team could\nutilise various routes as well as equipment and technology to support\nthe search process, ensuring that all journalists and crew members are\nlocated.<\/p>\n
\u201cUse various routes, and use technology if necessary that can detect\nthe disappearance of these citizens,\u201d said Haedar.<\/p>\n
He noted that Muhammadiyah shares the profound concern regarding the\ndisaster at Mount Anak Krakatau and other unpredictable disasters in\nIndonesia.<\/p>\n
\u201cI believe (the search) also requires cooperation with the community,\nso that a discovery can be made quickly,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Muhammadiyah is calling on the entire community to unite their\npotential to build resilience, implement mitigation, and increase\nvigilance against potential disasters in their respective regions by\nadhering to advisories from relevant agencies.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe levels provided by the government are essentially limits.\nHowever, vigilance is a responsibility that belongs to us all,\u201d he\nstated.<\/p>\n
He urged all residents living in disaster-prone areas, particularly\naround volcanoes, to remain vigilant and not ignore danger warnings.<\/p>\n
