JAKARTA \u2014 The surge in public mobility during the Eid holiday mudik\n(homecoming) period has driven demand for protection against various\ntravel risks and security concerns for homes left vacant during the\ncelebration.<\/p>\n
To capitalise on this opportunity, Asuransi Jasindo has introduced a\nMudik Insurance Programme designed as a protective solution for citizens\ntravelling to their hometowns during the Eid holiday break.<\/p>\n
Brellian Gema Widayana, Corporate Secretary at Asuransi Jasindo,\nstated that the mudik period is consistently marked by significant\nincreases in public mobility, necessitating risk protection measures.\n\u201cThe mudik period is always accompanied by quite substantial increases\nin public mobility,\u201d Brellian said during Asuransi Jasindo\u2019s media\ngathering for the breaking of the Ramadan fast on Wednesday, 11 March\n2026.<\/p>\n
\u201cThrough this Mudik Insurance Programme, Asuransi Jasindo wishes to\nprovide peace of mind and security for citizens travelling to their\nhometowns, whilst simultaneously offering protection for homes left\nunoccupied,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
According to Brellian, the programme is a personal accident insurance\nproduct that provides primary coverage against accident risks up to IDR\n100 million. Protection applies throughout the mudik journey, whether\nusing private vehicles or public transport.<\/p>\n
The programme is offered at relatively affordable premiums, starting\nfrom IDR 10,000. In addition to personal accident coverage, the\nprogramme includes several supplementary benefits. \u201cThe programme is\nequipped with supplementary benefits such as home burglary protection,\nambulance allowance, and evacuation costs in the event of an accident,\u201d\nsaid Brellian.<\/p>\n
Protection encompasses home burglary insurance with compensation\nvalue up to IDR 7.5 million, and home fire insurance with compensation\nvalue up to IDR 50 million. Additionally, evacuation cost allowance is\navailable, covering medical evacuation to more adequate healthcare\nfacilities through to body repatriation costs, each with a maximum value\nof IDR 1.5 million.<\/p>\n
The programme also provides ambulance allowance following an accident\nup to IDR 1.5 million.<\/p>\n
Through this programme, Brellian hopes that the public can undertake\ntheir mudik journey with greater peace of mind without worrying about\nleaving their homes unoccupied during the Eid holiday period.<\/p>\n
