        "content": "<p>The achievements of the UMKM BISA Export programme in the first\nquarter of 2026 demonstrate that our MSME actors possess increasingly\nstrong competitiveness in the international market.<\/p>\n<p>Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Ministry of Trade (Kemendag) reports that the\nMicro, Small, and Medium Enterprises Bold Innovation, Ready to Adapt\nExport (UMKM BISA) programme generated transactions of up to 23.60\nmillion US dollars or Rp404.5 billion in the first quarter of 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Trade Minister Budi Santoso emphasised that this achievement reflects\nthe effectiveness of the government\u2019s strategy in encouraging MSMEs to\npenetrate international markets. This increase is driven by increasingly\nintensive business matchmaking that connects MSMEs with global buyers in\na more targeted manner.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis achievement of UMKM BISA Export in the first quarter of 2026\nshows that our MSME actors have increasingly strong competitiveness in\nthe international market. Kemendag will continue to expand market\naccess, strengthen promotion, and ensure that MSMEs receive appropriate\nguidance to enable them to sustain themselves in the export market,\u201d\nsaid Budi in a statement in Jakarta on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>The Directorate General of National Export Development (Ditjen PEN)\nof Kemendag recorded that the first quarter 2026 achievement is a\ncombination of potential transactions through memoranda of understanding\n(MoU) worth 19.64 million US dollars and purchase orders (PO) worth 3.96\nmillion US dollars.<\/p>\n<p>From the buyer side, the UMKM BISA Export Programme successfully\nreached various countries such as Japan, Germany, the UK, the\nNetherlands, Saudi Arabia, and Canada, as well as regions in Asia,\nEurope, the Middle East, and Africa.<\/p>\n<p>The sectors of interest include processed seafood and fisheries, home\ndecor and furniture, health and body care, spices, food and beverages,\nagricultural and plantation products, fashion, cosmetics, cocoa, paper,\ncoconut products, herbal products, and plasticware items.<\/p>\n<p>Director General of PEN at Kemendag, Fajarini Puntodewi, added that\nUMKM BISA Export is designed as an integrated ecosystem to continuously\nexpand market reach while improving product curation quality.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe not only connect MSMEs with buyers but also ensure product\nreadiness, quality, and production capacity so that they can\nconsistently meet global market demands,\u201d said Puntodewi.<\/p>",
