        "content": "<p>Pelaksana Tugas Deputi Usaha Mikro Kementerian Usaha Mikro Kecil dan\nMenengah (Kemen UMKM) Riza Damanik stated that the Kumitra (Ease of\nMicro Business for Partnership) programme is a concrete step by the\ngovernment to bring micro, small, and medium enterprises closer to\nstrategic partners. \u201cKumitra is an agenda at the Ministry of MSMEs as a\nfollow-up to the direction of the Minister and Deputy Minister, so that\nour micro-enterprises become closer to their strategic partners,\u201d Riza\nDamanik said after the launch of Kumitra in Yogyakarta on Friday\nevening. Beyond strategic partners, he said the programme also connects\nMSMEs with their buyers, so that micro, small, and medium enterprises in\nIndonesia no longer have to search for buyers on their own. \u201cSo from the\nstart, we bring them together, we design it so that these micro and\nsmall enterprises can obtain sustainable strategic partners,\u201d he added.\nHe said that from a series of meetings with these MSME strategic\npartners, the government has secured commitments from partners to\ncontract and cooperate with micro-enterprises worth IDR 7 billion. \u201cI\nheard last week the figure was around IDR 7 billion, so there is already\na commitment to cooperate with micro-enterprises. Hopefully, this can\ngrow and continue in the days to come,\u201d he said. To maximise the Kumitra\nprogramme, he said the Ministry of MSMEs also provides access for MSMEs\nand partners to digital payment services via QRIS, as well as digital\nmarketing through e-commerce platforms. \u201cThere is joint training with\nseveral e-commerce platforms to ensure our MSMEs, our micro-enterprises,\nnot only onboard onto e-commerce platforms but also gain maximum profit\nso they can be more productive,\u201d he said. Deputy Governor of the Special\nRegion of Yogyakarta (DIY) KGPAA Paku Alam X said the Kumitra event in\nYogyakarta brought together around a thousand micro-entrepreneurs,\nassisted by integrated business service centres, and Teras Malioporo I\nbusiness actors with various strategic partners. \u201cBusiness meetings,\nstrengthening digital access, business partnership commitments, and the\nwaiving of product listing fees on retail networks of members of the\nIndonesian Retail Association are concrete steps to bring\nmicro-enterprises to a wider market,\u201d he said.<\/p>",
