Minister of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) Maman\nAbdurrahman has stated that he is working to synergise MSME empowerment\nand service programmes that are spread across various sectors.<\/p>\n
\u201cThrough the Prokesra (Pro Kesejahteraan Rakyat) programme, we have\nconsolidated nearly 20 ministries and agencies related to the synergy\nand integration of MSME programmes,\u201d Maman said in Jakarta on\nMonday.<\/p>\n
Maman said that the challenge of providing services and empowerment\nfor MSMEs is considerable, as they are spread across almost all\nministries, agencies, provincial governments and even\nregencies\/cities.<\/p>\n
For this reason, Maman added, his ministry is seeking to synergise\nthese efforts so that programmes for MSME players can be easily accessed\nand their benefits felt by all.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis means that one of our challenges is how we can synergise,\nconsolidate and integrate programmes spread across all ministries,\nprovinces and regencies\/cities so that they can be properly integrated,\u201d\nhe said.<\/p>\n
Maman mentioned that he has consolidated a number of MSME-related\nprogrammes with relevant agencies by signing cooperation agreements to\nmake things easier for MSMEs.<\/p>\n
In addition, he said, his ministry is also working to synergise\nlegality and certification matters, which to date have still not been\neasily accessible to MSMEs.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are also working to provide marketing and digital access because\nthis remains a challenge. And the last one is access to financing,\u201d he\nadded.<\/p>\n
Furthermore, Maman said, ministries and agencies have also agreed to\nbuild a common understanding and integration of technology utilisation,\nespecially the Sapa UMKM system that has already been developed.<\/p>\n
