        "content": "<p>PT MRT Jakarta will conduct a market sounding exercise to seek\ninvestors for the development of the park and ride facility area near\nthe Lebak Bulus station in Cilandak, South Jakarta. \u201cAfter this, the\nplanning will be finalised by our MRT colleagues, then a market sounding\nwill be conducted to find investors to carry out the construction,\u201d said\nSouth Jakarta Mayor Syafrin Liputo after inspecting the Lebak Bulus Park\nand Ride area on Tuesday. Syafrin stated that PT MRT Jakarta is\ncurrently finalising the planning stage for the development of the area\naround the initial MRT Jakarta station. He noted that the development of\nthe Lebak Bulus area is highly strategic as it serves as the starting\nstation for the MRT, functioning as a transport node for residents from\nsouthern Jakarta and its surrounding areas. The South Jakarta City\nAdministration, together with the DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency, PT\nMRT Jakarta, and the governor\u2019s special staff, have directly inspected\nthe area to ensure the development plan is integrated with the\nsurrounding environment. He explained that the area\u2019s development will\nnot only focus on its transport function but will also be directed\ntowards creating good connectivity with various community activities.\n\u201cEvery development in this area is fully integrated with the\nenvironment. It is not just seen from the transport function, but how\nthe transport function is integrated with the area, so that all\ncommunity mobility moves seamlessly,\u201d Syafrin said. The development of\nthe Lebak Bulus Park and Ride aligns with the programme of DKI Jakarta\nGovernor Pramono Anung as an effort to encourage the public to switch\nfrom private vehicles to public transport. With an adequate park and\nride location available, residents can park their vehicles in the Lebak\nBulus area and then continue their journey to the city centre using the\nMRT or Transjakarta.
