"summary": "Indonesia's MPR has called for a stronger commitment to disability rights, stressing that protecting the rights of marginalized groups is mandated by the 1945 Constitution and law. It highlighted that 38 of 67 bills under the 2026 National Legislation Programme relate to disability issues, and cited gaps in education and employment for disabled people, including only 2.8% with higher education and 70% working in the informal sector. The assembly urged faster regional disability policies, harmonised inclusive regulations, and stronger inclusive public services, inviting government, the legislature, the private sector and the public to build a more effective system.",
