Deputy for Administration of the MPR Secretariat General, Heri\nHerawan, officially opened the 2026 Central Java Provincial Level\nMarching and Flag-Raising Creativity Competition (LKBB-PB). Heri Herawan\nexpressed pride in being among the participants. \u201cThe organisation of\nthis activity is intended to provide understanding and reinforcement of\nthe nation\u2019s noble values to the younger generation as the nation\u2019s\nsuccessors,\u201d he said in a written statement on Saturday (13\/6\/2026).<\/p>\n
The nation recently commemorated the historic anniversary of\nPancasila\u2019s birth on 1 June. According to Heri Herawan, the nation\u2019s\nnoble values are contained within Pancasila as the foundation of the\nIndonesian state, which serves as a guide in social, national, and state\nlife. \u201cThe values contained within it provide an understanding of\ndivinity, humanity, unity, democracy, and social justice,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Heri Herawan added that the noble values of Pancasila are strongly\nreflected in the character of national heroes, such as courage,\nwillingness to sacrifice, selflessness, and prioritising national unity\nand integrity. \u201cThe exemplary conduct of so many national heroes from\nCentral Java can be a source of inspiration for the younger generation\nto contribute to regional and national development. This example also\nshows how the heroes implemented and safeguarded the nation\u2019s noble\nvalues,\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n
To continue fostering and instilling these noble values in society,\nespecially among the youth, Heri Herawan stated that the MPR, as a state\ninstitution, has the duty to socialise Pancasila, the 1945 Constitution\nof the Republic of Indonesia, the Unitary State of the Republic of\nIndonesia, and Bhinneka Tunggal Ika. He said the MPR has a strategic and\ncrucial role in safeguarding the constitution, including the\nimplementation of its values in social, national, and state life.<\/p>\n
\u201cIn safeguarding the constitution and preserving national culture and\nthe spirit of nationalism, the MPR has an obligation to provide\nunderstanding and instil the values contained in the constitution to the\npublic, especially the younger generation. Therefore, the MPR RI\norganises Youth Nationalism Strengthening activities through various\ntypes of events, including the Marching and Flag-Raising Creativity\nCompetition,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Heri Herawan expressed hope that the LKBB-PB activity could serve as\nnew motivation, particularly for the younger generation, to safeguard,\nimplement, and develop the nation\u2019s noble values. \u201cIt is hoped that the\nyounger generation can actively participate in strengthening the\nnation\u2019s foundation, maintaining national integrity, and building a\nbetter Indonesia in the future amidst the global challenges we face both\nnow and in the future, towards a Golden Indonesia 2045,\u201d he hoped.<\/p>\n
Heri Herawan also hoped participants would uphold sportsmanship,\nmaintain the good name of their schools, PPI, and the MPR RI, and bring\nhonour to the province at the national level. The opening of the\nactivity was marked by the striking of a gong and the handing over of a\ntrophy to the LKBB-PB committee during the opening ceremony held at the\nSMKN 7 Semarang field, Central Java.<\/p>\n
The Central Java Provincial Level LKBB-PB, held in the context of\nstrengthening youth nationalism, was attended by 10 schools from various\ndistricts in Central Java, namely SMA Negeri 1 Purwodadi, Grobogan\nRegency; SMA Negeri 1 Pati; SMA Negeri 1 Purbalingga; SMA Negeri 2 Kota\nMagelang; SMA Negeri 1 Kendal; SMK Negeri 2 Karanganyar; SMK Negeri 1\nKedungwuni, Pekalongan Regency; SMA Negeri 13 Semarang; SMA Negeri 2\nBae, Kudus Regency; and SMA Negeri 1 Wonosegoro, Boyolali Regency.<\/p>\n
The first-place winner of the Central Java Provincial Level LKBB-PB,\na collaboration between the MPR RI, Purna Paskibraka Indonesia (PPI),\nand the Central Java Education Office, will represent Central Java\nProvince at the national level LKBB-PB in Jakarta in August 2026,\ncoinciding with Constitution Day.
