        "content": "<p>Jakarta (ANTARA) - People\u2019s Consultative Assembly (MPR) Speaker Ahmad\nMuzani inaugurated Adela Kanasya Adies as a replacement member for the\nremainder of the 2024\u20132029 term at the Parliament Complex in Jakarta on\nMonday. Adela Adies was sworn in to replace Adies Kadir, the former\nDeputy Speaker of the House of Representatives (DPR), who resigned after\nbeing appointed as a Constitutional Court judge. Before guiding the\noath-taking, Muzani reminded Adela that the oath of office carries\nresponsibilities to the nation and state, as well as the duty to uphold\nand safeguard Pancasila and the Constitution. \u201cThis oath is a promise to\nGod Almighty and to mankind that must be fulfilled with sincerity and\nhonesty,\u201d the MPR Speaker stated. Adela then took the oath of office\nupon the Quran. \u201cBy Allah, I swear that I will fulfil my duties as a\nmember of the People\u2019s Consultative Assembly to the best of my ability\nand with the utmost fairness, in accordance with the laws and\nregulations, guided by Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution of the\nRepublic of Indonesia,\u201d she declared. Adela swore to work earnestly to\nuphold democratic life and to prioritise the interests of the nation and\nstate over personal, individual, or group interests. \u201cI will fight for\nthe aspirations of the people and the region I represent to realise the\nnational goals for the benefit of the nation and the Unitary State of\nthe Republic of Indonesia,\u201d she added. The Golkar Party legislator had\npreviously been inaugurated as a member of the DPR for the remainder of\nthe 2024\u20132029 term. She took the oath guided by DPR Speaker Puan\nMaharani during the 18th DPR Plenary Session of the 5th Session Period\nfor 2025\u20132026 at the parliamentary complex in Senayan, Jakarta, on\nTuesday (12\/5). Adies Kadir, who previously served as DPR Deputy Speaker\nand MPR member, was elected as a Constitutional Court judge proposed by\nthe DPR.
