        "content": "<p>The judges\u2019 decision in the Four Pillars of the MPR RI 2026 Quiz\nCompetition at the West Kalimantan provincial level has sparked\ncontroversy. The MPR has apologised as a result.<\/p>\n<p>As compiled by detikcom on Tuesday (12\/5\/2026), the controversy began\nwhen the judges gave different scores to the same answer from\nparticipants in the MPR Quiz in West Kalimantan. In the competition,\nGroup C from SMAN 1 Pontianak received a minus five score for an answer\nrelated to the process of selecting BPK members.<\/p>\n<p>However, a similar answer given by Group B from SMAN 1 Sambas was\nawarded 10 points by the same judge, Dyastasita, Head of the Assessment\nBureau of the MPR RI Secretariat General. Participants from Group C\nprotested, feeling their answer was the same. But the judge stated that\nGroup C\u2019s answer did not clearly mention the Dewan Perwakilan Daerah\n(DPD).<\/p>\n<p>MPR Secretary General Siti Fauziah stated that the organising\ncommittee conducted an internal review regarding the scoring of\nparticipants\u2019 answers. They guaranteed a comprehensive evaluation of all\ntechnical aspects of the competition.<\/p>\n<p>Gerindra Urges Judges to Apologise<\/p>\n<p>MPR RI Gerindra Faction Chairman Habiburokhman praised the courage of\nthe student from SMA Negeri 1 Pontianak, Josepha Alexandra or Ocha, who\nimmediately protested when her answer was deemed incorrect in the MPR\nQuiz. He\nconsidered the judges and host to be anti-criticism and believed they\nshould apologise to Ocha.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOn the other hand, we regret the attitude of the judges, the\norganising committee, including the host, who did not acknowledge their\nmistake and showed an anti-criticism stance. They should apologise to\nOcha,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Habiburokhman stated that the judges\u2019 error in the quiz competition\nshould not be taken lightly. He requested that the series of\ncompetitions be temporarily halted and the judges replaced.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur intention to educate should not become counterproductive. We\npropose that the judges of the event be replaced and the event halted\ntemporarily until there is a serious guarantee of improvement,\u201d he\nstated.<\/p>\n<p>MPR Apologises and Deactivates Judges<\/p>\n<p>The MPR RI then apologised regarding the Quiz Competition controversy\nat the West Kalimantan provincial level.
