The Chairman of the MPR RI, Ahmad Muzani, officially opened the 2026\nFour Pillars MPR Smart Quiz Competition at the provincial level in East\nJava in Surabaya, East Java, today. The event is organised to train\ncourage, thinking skills, and mastery of national materials for\nparticipants, who are mostly high school students.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt is not about winning or losing, but about your courage to\nrepresent your regions and master the material you have studied,\u201d said\nAhmad Muzani in a written statement on Saturday (18\/4\/2026).<\/p>\n
According to him, Indonesia\u2019s future requires a generation that is\nnot only intelligent but also creative, innovative, moral, and\nresponsible. Therefore, he conveyed five important messages to the\nparticipants.<\/p>\n
First, become guardians of Pancasila. Muzani emphasised that\nPancasila is the main foundation of the nation that cannot be separated\nfrom Indonesia\u2019s existence.<\/p>\n
\u201cWithout Pancasila, there is no Indonesia. There is no Indonesia\nwithout Pancasila,\u201d he asserted.<\/p>\n
He also reminded that understanding Pancasila is not enough to just\nmemorise it. Understanding Pancasila must be embodied in daily attitudes\nand behaviour.<\/p>\n
Second, respect the constitution and safeguard democracy by making\nthe 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia the guideline in\nstate life. Then, third, Muzani invited the young generation to continue\nnurturing unity amid diversity.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are one, but we are different. We are different, but we aim for\none,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Fourth, Muzani advised participants to become a moral digital\ngeneration. He highlighted the importance of using technology,\nespecially gadgets, wisely so as not to damage unity, but to strengthen\ncreativity and togetherness.<\/p>\n
Fifth, dare to dream and work hard to achieve it. Muzani views the\nhigh school phase as an important stage towards a greater future.<\/p>\n
\u201cDaring to dream and striving hard is the key to achieving the\nfuture,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n
Furthermore, Muzani hopes that by 2045, when Indonesia enters its\n100th year, the current participants will have become great figures in\nvarious fields.<\/p>\n
He also invited all participants to become beneficial individuals, at\nleast for their immediate environment.<\/p>\n
\u201cIf you cannot benefit the environment, become someone who benefits\nthe family. If unable, at least do not trouble anyone,\u201d he\nexplained.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, East Java Governor Khofifah Indar Parawansa expressed\nappreciation for the organisation of the 2026 Four Pillars MPR Smart\nQuiz Competition at the provincial level in East Java. She also\nemphasised the importance of strengthening national values for the young\ngeneration.<\/p>\n
Khofifah also said that the Four Pillars Smart Quiz is part of an\nideological investment to prepare successor generations towards Golden\nIndonesia 2045.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis is a very important ideological investment for the\nsustainability of the Indonesian nation,\u201d she stated.<\/p>\n
Furthermore, Khofifah emphasised the importance of the current young\ngeneration holding a strategic role amid globalisation challenges,\ntechnological disruption, and the rapid flow of information. Therefore,\nunderstanding the Four Pillars of Nationalism must become the main\nfoundation.<\/p>\n
\u201cThese Four Pillars of Nationalism are not just to be memorised, but\nto be lived in attitudes, actions, and every decision,\u201d she\nasserted.<\/p>\n
The East Java Provincial Government, she continued, continues to\nstrive to build superior and characterful human resources through\nvarious programmes. According to her, this includes strengthening\ncharacter education, digital literacy, and cross-cultural dialogue.<\/p>\n
The Four Pillars MPR Smart Quiz is expected to produce a young\ngeneration that is not only academically intelligent but also\ncharacterful, ideological, and has a strong national spirit.<\/p>\n
