        "content": "<p>A member of Commission VI of the House of Representatives, Rivqy\nAbdul Halim, is pushing for the recruitment process of 30,000 managers\nfor the Merah Putih Village Cooperatives to be conducted transparently.\nAccording to the National Awakening Party politician, openness in the\nrecruitment process can be achieved through a merit system that\nprioritises candidates\u2019 qualifications and competencies.<\/p>\n<p>Rivqy hopes the government will ensure that there is no interference\nin the selection process. \u201cRecruitment must truly prioritise\nprofessionalism. There must be no political appointments,\u201d he said in a\nwritten statement quoted on Sunday, 19 April 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Considering that village cooperatives are a priority programme of\nPresident Prabowo Subianto, Rivqy warns of the importance of thorough\npreparation in recruiting its human resources. The highly strategic\nposition of manager must be filled by individuals experienced in\nmanaging cooperatives.<\/p>\n<p>Without adequate understanding and experience, cooperative managers\nwill be hindered in carrying out their duties. \u201cKopdes managers must\nunderstand cooperative governance. If they don\u2019t understand and lack\nexperience, it will be difficult to run the cooperative well,\u201d he\nstated.<\/p>\n<p>Rivqy also believes that a manager needs more than technical skills;\nthey must also be able to build good relationships with the local\ncommunity. Because, he said, such interactions can build public trust to\nencourage cooperative development.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, Rivqy emphasised the importance of prospective managers\nhaving integrity to manage cooperatives honestly and responsibly. He\nassessed that the managerial position is vulnerable to abuse if the\nindividual is not trustworthy. Thus, such deviations could ultimately\nlead to the cooperative\u2019s closure.<\/p>\n<p>The government officially opened vacancies to recruit 30,000\nprospective Merah Putih Village Cooperative managers on Wednesday, 15\nApril 2026. Coordinating Minister for Food Affairs and Head of the Merah\nPutih Village Cooperatives Formation Task Force Zulkifli Hasan stated\nthat the recruitment is being carried out by a national selection\ncommittee free of charge.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe nation is calling on its best sons and daughters to be present\nin villages, sub-districts, and fishing villages. Let us all monitor\ntogether so that those selected are truly the best human resources for\nan advanced Indonesia,\u201d said Zulkifli, quoted from Antara.<\/p>\n<p>The procedures and registration requirements for the recruitment are\nas follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><p>Applicants are graduates of D-3, D-4, and S-1 from all\nmajors<\/p><\/li>\n<li><p>Have a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of\n2.75<\/p><\/li>\n<li><p>Maximum age of 35 years<\/p><\/li>\n<li><p>Registration runs from 15-24 April 2026<\/p><\/li>\n<li><p>Register via the channel https:\/\/phtc.panselnas.go.id<\/p><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Zulkifli explained that the government will conduct the selection\ntransparently and accountably.
