        "content": "<p>A motorcyclist went on a rampage and punched the bonnet of a car at\nthe Dalung traffic lights in North Kuta district, Badung regency, Bali,\non Sunday (25 October 2026). The unidentified rider also pushed the car\ndriver to the ground after an argument on the road.<\/p>\n<p>The incident went viral on social media. Traffic was heavy and the\nuncontrolled disturbance caused chaos at the scene.<\/p>\n<p>Information gathered indicates that the incident began when the\nvictim, identified by the initials BEW, was driving with his wife, LTA,\nfrom Dalung south towards Gatot Subroto Road. Near the Dalung junction,\nthe victim\u2019s car allegedly sideswiped a motorbike travelling from the\nnorth. The rider\u2019s identity is unknown.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe perpetrator suddenly punched the front bonnet of the victim\u2019s\ncar. When questioned, he tried to attack again and pushed the victim to\nthe ground,\u201d Badung Police public relations officer Ipda Ni Nyoman Yuni\nEltari said when contacted on Monday (26 October 2026).<\/p>\n<p>After being pushed down and left unable to get up, the victim tried\nto fend off further blows from the perpetrator, who then fled. The\nvictim and another person at the scene contacted the police to request\nemergency assistance.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAfter receiving a report from a member of the public through the 110\nhotline, the team immediately coordinated with the Safety Taksu Center\nto send an ambulance to take the victim to hospital and advised his wife\nto file an official report with the Integrated Police Service Centre\n[SPKT],\u201d Yuni said.<\/p>\n<p>North Kuta Police officers arrived at the scene at around 8pm local\ntime to begin their response, while the victim received medical\ntreatment from a Badung Health Office ambulance team. Police are now\nsearching for the motorcyclist suspected of assaulting him.<\/p>",
