        "content": "<p>Jakarta, VIVA \u2013 Brigadir Arya Supena (34) was killed after being shot\nwhile catching a motorcycle thief in the act in Bandarlampung on\nSaturday, 9 May 2026. Arya was shot in the head and could not be\nsaved.<\/p>\n<p>The Head of Public Relations of the Lampung Regional Police, Yuni\nIswandari Yuyun, stated that the police are investigating the case and\npursuing the shooter.<\/p>\n<p>The case has also drawn the attention of Ahmad Sahroni, Deputy\nChairman of Commission III of the Indonesian House of Representatives.\nThe NasDem politician has called on law enforcement to impose punishment\non the perpetrator.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis phenomenon of criminals opposing authorities is very dangerous.\nCriminals are becoming increasingly reckless, no longer fearing the\npolice but daring to kill them. If they dare against authorities, how\nmuch more against ordinary citizens who lack authority and weapon\nprotection. This cannot be allowed to continue.
