Mother brutally killed in public<\/p>\n
BANDUNG: A 27-year-old mother named Cucu Mulyati met her
\ntragic death on Wednesday morning when a homeless man named Uju
\ndragged her from a crowded alley near Cijerah Islamic Boarding
\nschool in Bandung Kulon.<\/p>\n
Mulyati was on her way to her office at around 7 a.m. when
\nsuddenly she was confronted by Uju.<\/p>\n
Neighbors said they heard screams from the alley, but thought
\nit was coming from an insane woman who used to hang around the
\narea.<\/p>\n
\"When we looked further, Mulyati was already bleeding with Uju
\nraping her. No one dared come closer as Uju kept swinging a
\nmachete. We then called the police and he was arrested but it was
\ntoo late,\" Adeng, 40, a witness, said.<\/p>\n
West Bandung Police chief Sr. Insp. Ayi Supardan said Uju
\ncannot be properly questioned as he kept muttering weird words.
\n\"Once he said he was 100 years-old and then he says he is 15. We
\nhave to check his mental condition,\" Ayi said.<\/p>\n
An autopsy revealed that Mulyati suffered from 15 slash
\nwounds. She is survived by a one-year-old child. (25\/edt)<\/p>",
