The head of the\nGeneral Crimin al Investigation Unit at Pamekasan Police Resort,\nInspector Reza, said in Pamekasan on Thursday that the two suspects were\ncaptured in Dompu Regency, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), after fleeing\nfollowing the theft. \u2018This arrest was made thanks to CCTV footage at the\nscene. We immediately conducted investigations and pursued the\nsuspects,\u2019 he said.<\/p>\n<p>The gold theft occurred on May 2, 2026, at around 3:00 pm Western\nIndonesian Time at a gold shop in Pamekasan. The case was reported to\nthe police by the victim on May 9, 2026 after the gold jewellery was\nfound missing.<\/p>\n<p>The case attracted public attention after CCTV footage from the scene\ncirculated widely and went viral on social media.
