        "content": "<p>Most schools in bad shape<\/p>\n<p>SEMARANG, Central Java: More than 13,000 of the province's<br>\n22,000 primary school buildings are dilapidated, the head of the<br>\nMinistry of Education and Culture's provincial office, Slamet<br>\nHaryanto, said yesterday.<\/p>\n<p>Slamet said that 9,196 of the school buildings were slightly<br>\ndamaged, 3,807 were in poor condition and 1,600 were in total<br>\nruin.<\/p>\n<p>He said his office had requested Rp 2 billion (US$8.3 million)<br>\nfrom the provincial administration to finance the renovation of<br>\n136 buildings.
