Most fuel price down in December<\/p>\n

The prices of kerosene for industry, industrial diesel oil,
\nand fuel oil are down in December, but prices for automotive
\ndiesel oil and Premium gasoline remain unchanged.<\/p>\n
State oil and gas company Pertamina said in a press release
\nSunday that kerosene for industrial users was down from Rp 1,650
\nto Rp 1,530 per liter.<\/p>\n
Industrial diesel oil is down Rp 10 from Rp 1,520 per liter to
\nRp 1,510. Fuel oil is Rp 1,120 per liter from the previous Rp
\n1,150 per liter.<\/p>\n
Early this year, the government set fuel prices at 75 percent
\nof the market rate, thus Pertamina has to adjust the prices every
\nmonth according to fluctuations in the market. However, the
\ngovernment sets special prices for kerosene for households and
\nall fuels for the mining, oil and gas industries.<\/p>\n
The kerosene price for households is fixed at Rp 600 per liter
\nthroughout the year, while fuel prices for the mining, oil and
\ngas industries are set at 100 percent of market prices.<\/p>\n
Given the drop in the crude prices in the international market
\nin the past month, Pertamina said fuel prices for the mining, oil
\nand gas industries were down for December.<\/p>\n
Kerosene is now at Rp 2,030 from Rp 2,220 per liter last
\nmonth. Diesel oil is down from Rp 2,080 to Rp 2,000 per liter,
\nwhile fuel oil is down from Rp 1,650 to Rp 1,490.<\/p>\n
Automotive diesel oil at gas stations remains unchanged at Rp
\n1,550 per liter. But its price is down from Rp 2,120 to Rp 2,060
\nper liter for the mining, oil and gas companies.<\/p>\n
As for the Super TT, Premix and Premium gasolines, the prices
\nremain unchanged at Rp 2,500 per liter, Rp 2,400 per liter and
\nRp1,750 per liter respectively.<\/p>",
