        "content": "<p>Mosque home to Timor refugees<\/p>\n<p>UJUNGPANDANG, South Sulawesi: Eighty-six refugees from East<br>\nTimor, who fled their province two months ago, are still being<br>\nsheltered at a mosque here.<\/p>\n<p>One of the refugees, Jose da Silva Taneti, said here on Friday<br>\nthat they left East Timor because of the worsening security<br>\nsituation in the province.<\/p>\n<p>Antara reported that the first batch of refugees began<br>\narriving in early April.<\/p>\n<p>Taneti said the refugees have no intention of returning to<br>\nEast Timor until the security situation improves, which he<br>\nbelieves will not occur before the direct ballot slated for Aug.<br>\n8.<\/p>\n<p>He predicted that more Timorese would be leaving the province<br>\nas the situation worsens.<\/p>\n<p>Those who have fled to Ujungpandang are being given food and<br>\naid by the city administration in cooperation with the local<br>\noffice of the Ministry of Social Affairs.
